Target practice

With the warmer weather and some yard work being done, the kids brought home branches that someone on our street had pruned. The branches were thin, supple, and long. Perfect for making bows.

Scraping and smoothing the largest branches.
It took over a week, working diligently daily, before the bows and arrows were completed.
Then they practiced shooting it at this target,
and this target,
and at bubbles.
Hours and hours of fun!
