Blueberry Pie

Weekends = chilling and baking time (and driving too)!

Today, it’s blueberry pie. The pastry was made with lard this time (the last apple pie was made with butter, which we’re out of).
Lara, unlike her mama, takes the time to make food aesthetically pleasing.
This weave required patience as the pastry was a bit fragile.
Almost done. She trims of all the ends,
and uses the leftovers to make a mini personal pie.
Bake them (and heat the house at the same time).
Look at that!
