There are still gilders working today, mostly to maintain artefacts used in Holy Week and other Church objects. The tools and techniques are still the same as those used centuries ago.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/agaaga.khoolbrew.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/img_0294.jpg?w=1032&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5191\" \/><figcaption>Tanner&#8217;s workshop, which no longer exist today. Traditional tanning took a year and a half for a proper finish, and used water, lime, salt, and tannin bark.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/agaaga.khoolbrew.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/img_0296.jpg?w=1032&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5194\" \/><figcaption>Goldsmith&#8217;s workshop donated by the famous goldsmith Fernando Marmolejo Camargo. Now, mass production uses engraved prints.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/agaaga.khoolbrew.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/img_0313.jpg?w=1032&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5200\" \/><figcaption>This potter&#8217;s workshop is characteristic of those from Cortegana, where they usually installed potteries in the kitchen.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/agaaga.khoolbrew.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/img_0351.jpg?w=1032&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5212\" \/><figcaption>Blacksmith&#8217;s workshop<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>After the workshops, there was a review of what they learnt at the <a href=\"https:\/\/agaaga.khoolbrew.ca\/2019\/07\/09\/centro-ceramica-triana\/\">Centro Ceramica<\/a> with the ceramics exhibits. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/agaaga.khoolbrew.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/img_0316.jpg?w=1032&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5203\" \/><figcaption>These are heraldic relief tiles, achieved by putting pressure on a mould. These are typically used on graves of nobles. Most of these are coats of arms of different families that conquered Seville with Ferdinand III.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/agaaga.khoolbrew.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/img_0320.jpg?w=1032&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5205\" \/><figcaption>These tiles were decorated using the dry-string method, done by outlining the different colours with greasy ink or string so the colours would not run during firing.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/agaaga.khoolbrew.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/img_0323.jpg?w=1032&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5206\" \/><figcaption>These majolica tiles are hand painted, just like canvases.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/agaaga.khoolbrew.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/img_0331.jpg?w=1032&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5208\" \/><figcaption>Unexplained barrels &#8230;<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/agaaga.khoolbrew.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/img_0338.jpg?w=1032&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5210\" \/><figcaption>Shaving bowl!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/agaaga.khoolbrew.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/img_0367.jpg?w=1032&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5213\" \/><figcaption>On the way home from the museum, we found these columns which were constructed in the time of emperor Hadrian for a public building. There are 3 here, and 2 more which were dug up and moved to the <a href=\"https:\/\/agaaga.khoolbrew.ca\/2019\/06\/29\/alameda-de-hercules\/\">Alameda de H\u00e9rcules<\/a>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/agaaga.khoolbrew.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/img_0365.jpg?w=1032&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5214\" \/><figcaption>The 3 remaining in their original state are 9 m tall and 4.5 m below the current street level.
