City Championship
After weeks of daily early-morning or after-school practices, Nolan placed 7th in the North Toronto meet. As a result, he was able to attend the city races. In November, he’ll be trying out for the Swim Team and the Water Polo Team. No sleeping in allowed!
Balance of efficiency and strength
For their Tech class, Nolan and his partner had to design and construct a bridge that balances efficiency and strength. They could use a maximum number of 200 popsicle sticks. Cirque du Sore Legs
The first event after school starts is usually the Terry Fox run. Nolan’s high school ran a little competition. The kids could do individual and/or group runs, and the “event” lasted 5 days (Saturday to Wednesday). Nolan decided to form a group with his friends.

Warning: Some bloody images ahead. Nolan was helping to prune the back hedge after lunch today. When he picked up the pruning shears, he received a cut that dripped blood through the house and soaked multiple cloths, so we decided to take him to North York General Hospital Emergency Department.
