Lara’s Day 2018
Every year, around their birthday, LL takes the day off work, pulls birthday child out of school, and spends the day with the birthday child. Lara’s plans for the day included a haircut, helping Neil paint her new bedroom, playing Lego, reading, and a baking project. Grand Marnier was not actually included.

Lara: Mommy? It says on this sticker that birds’ feathers are heavier than their bones. LL: What? Really? ?!?! Lara: Ya, birds’ bones are hollow, so they’re really light. That’s why birds can fly and humans can’t. Our bones are not hollow! Learnt something new today!
