On the way to Bazaar Baru Chow Kit for fruit and vegetables, we were sidetracked by the stalls along Jalan Raja Alang. The street is lined on both sides with stalls. There are uncountable vegetable stalls. We went home with an amazing haul of fruit and vegetables.

Tekka Food Centre, about a 5 minute walk from our hostel (more on this later), was a favourite spot for breakfast. The kids loved the Food/Hawker Centres for their variety and fresh fruit juices. It’s got over 300 stalls containing cooked food, fresh food, clothing and a wet market.
