Lara’s Banana Pancakes for Breakfast
Measure out ingredients. Fold them together. Cook them. Voila, breakfast is ready! They were scrumptious! Lara’s changes to the recipe were both healthy and tasty! Next time we have to quadruple the recipe!
Fusion Lunch: Mexican Salsa and Southern Cornbread
Kids insisted on not adding any salt or sugar at all to both of these and for once I actually listened. Probably had to do with the fresh ingredients but it was extremely tasty! We also had guacamole (made from scratch) and no salt tortilla chips (store bought).
Nolan’s Rhubarb Pie from scratch
All I did was answer a few questions, pop the pie in the oven, and pull it out when done!

Discovered the kids busy in the kitchen prepping pizza for dinner. Nolan and Felix fried the chopped mushrooms in butter and olive oil all on their own. Lara is busy chopping peppers.
