When Felix makes his meals
Since he’s virtual schooling, he often makes his own breakfasts and lunches. There’s always a theme … If I took a picture of every meal where he makes eggs, there’d be hundreds of pictures since it’s been almost 365 days since schools shut down last March. We go through 4 dozen eggs every week!
Chicken coop delivery
Eggciting news, but the coop is not for us. Neil helped a friend move a chicken coop that he was receiving. It took three cars (to keep the family groups separated) and our trailer. Now we wait to see when the chickens arrive.

Happy Chinese New Year – Ox
The same friend who talked me into hot pot meal for celebrating Chinese New Year last year loaned us a divided pot for our meal this year so we could have two different flavours of soup. Happy New Year!
Claireville Conservation Hike
There was no school on Friday so we thought it might be a good day for a short hike. This conservation area is only 25 mins from home and we invited another family with three kids to join us. Everyone was masked and all six kids had a blast roaming the various landscapes.
Calico Critters Washing Machine
One day, Lara decided she needed to wash the clothes of her Calico Critters. After designing for much of the day, she decided to get to work making her creation.
