We learnt about the Skyline Luge after we started our gap year trip, and the first one we visited was in Busan. We’ve since visited Rotorua, Queenstown, Singapore, and today, Kuala Lumpur.
Kuala Lumpur is one of our favourites. The runs are fast and windy – quite often, you round the corners on two wheels.
10:30 in the morning and we were almost the only ones here. This site opened a month ago (Dec 8) and this was the lineup for the gondola up! This is shocking as the other sites were PACKED.Views of the palm oil plantations from the gondola. Malaysia is now one of the world’s biggest producers in palm oil. The rubber plantations have been replaced with palm oil plantations.Still no lineups, and look at all those luges waiting for us! After our first run, things started to get busy.
On previous visits, Neil had the gopro strapped to his wrist, but he forgot the strap today so he purchased the video the Luge puts together from cameras along the runs.
Wow looks like fun!
Nolan! I’m always last! Maybe this has something to do with being pushed off the track?
