Fort Jeudy Point

For Christmas, Nolan chipped in with us to purchase a used drone from kijiji. He brought it to Grenada and was keen to try it out. Unfortunately, our airbnb is too close to the airport for him to fly there, so he asked to be taken to Fort Jeudy Point for drone flying.

We spotted these giant fan and silver palms on our drive there. Identification is thanks to google’s image-search-and-identify.
Fort Jeudy Point is on the Atlantic side of the Grenada, which means it’s a little more exciting than Grand Anse.
Lone brown pelican.
More wildlife!
google identifies these as American oystercatchers.

Nolan thought they were nesting on this rock.

That’s Nolan on the point – it turned out to be much too windy for drone flying, but we got to see a new place that wasn’t even on our radar.
