Two days after the stitches went in, the bandaid could come off, and he could get the finger wet.Now we get a good closeup of the doctor’s work. It’s still crusty from dried blood.After cleaning off the dried blood, you can really see the knots,including where one of the stitches goes right through his nail!Today, Jun 8, we visited the doc down the street to remove the final stitch (all the others had fallen off previously). It’s healing nicely.
The one major side effect to this was that we had to delay his Grade 8 piano exam, which was originally scheduled for June 15. The next soonest time slot for a remote exam was Jul 15. No more tools till then 😂
