Jul 1 – 6, from a granny knot to making a climbing net for the kids.
First, a prototype from some string in the garbage. With this, I learnt how to tie the Carrick Bend:

Many whippings later, I have the lengths of rope to start:
Lay it out:

Use the Carrick Bend to join two lengths of rope – it’s way easier with short pieces of string!
And we’re off!

Got tired of bending down to tie the knots:

All done!

Very creative. Fun to see it come together. So glad the kids are using it. They will be strong little monkeys.
