Recipe:
- Whisk dry ingredients:
2 C whole wheat flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda - Blend wet ingredients to make about 2 1/2 C of liquid to form thick batter:
bananas
2 eggs
spash of vinegar
milk - Fold wet and dry together. Do not over mix. Lumps are OK.
- Cook on frying pan with melted butter; serve with applesauce and frozen fruit.
Kids are 6, 8, and 9 – doubled the recipe, and they demolished everything except 5 small pancakes.
