We dropped the kids off for 3 hours this afternoon at Silent Voice. They had a holiday program for hearing-impaired kids and their siblings. In addition to arts and crafts, the kids increased their “silent language” (ASL) vocabulary significantly via immersion and games. This is the scene the kids put together with some of their crafts when they got home.
And what did we do with this kid-free time? We parked at the library and worked frantically on the School Council budget (Neil is Co-Chair and I am Treasurer).
What lovely snowmen, and very yummy looking jars. A nice experience for the children too. No play time for parents! XO to all
sounds like a productive day
