Lara had a CAGIS event this morning at the University of Toronto to meet with its Blue Sky Solar Racing Team. They learnt about sustainability, renewable energy, solar power, and solar cars; and they got to check out “Viridian”, U of T’s solar car that was used to race 3,000 km from Darwin to Adelaide in Australia.






The day for looked like this:
9:00: LL drive to pick up two of Nolan’s friends. Drop off at the community centre so they can play basketball and skate.
9:30: Return home in time to pick up Neil and Lara for CAGIS. Pick up a friend and her dad who are also attending the event. We’re driving downtown because the subway is closed.
10:40: Back uptown to pick up Felix from a sleepover at friend’s house close to home.
10:55: Back home to throw some lunch together.
11:20: Drive with Felix to the community centre to pick up Nolan and his friends.
11:55: Arrive home after dropping the friends off. Eat a quick lunch.
12:10: Drive downtown again with Nolan and Felix to pick up Neil and Lara.
12:45: Drive from the University to the symphony.
1:30: Pre-show at the symphony starts, followed by the main event.
4:00: Arrive home ….. at last!
